HVAC is the acronym that stands for heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
  • We're getting ready to go on vacation and I'm wondering what temperature I should leave our thermostat set at to conserve energy?
We recommend that you leave your thermostat set at your usual setting, which should align with the following: In the summer, the common setting is 74 degrees to 76 degrees. In the winter, the common setting is 68 degrees to 70 degrees. We encourage our clients to set their thermostat to a temperature that is comfortable for them. There's no need for sweaty pits or a ski suit while indoors, am I right?!
  • How often should I change my air filter?
We recommend that you check your air filter(s) on a monthly basis. This is important to do because while you are checking your air filter, it gives you the opportunity to also check your unit for any possible issues that may be occuring. If you happen to find anything abnormal - please contact us immediately to schedule service. Regardless, you'll want to replace your air filters, as needed.
